Saint- Petersburg

The Military Space Engineering Academy museum.

The Military Space Engineering Academy has a World largest collection of the Russian spacecrafts, but most of ones are military and the access for foreigners takes the special permission of Russian Space military officials.

The museum is open daily from 9:00 till 18:00. The application is necessary to visit the museum on Saturdays and Sundays.
The museum is available to employees, students and cadets of the academy. Families' members of the academy employees and citizens of Russia may visit museum with the sanction of the academy chief.

Some interesting museum items:

the real Moon spacecraft "Lunnik-1" for 2 persons

Medical training spacecraft "Voshod" used by Gagarin and Titov for the Space flight preparation

The head part of spacecraft  "Soyuz-24" etc.
